Now chrome is the largest used browser in the world. People are migrating from Mozilla Firefox to chrome by its simple and fast experience. The chrome extensions are so simple and user friendly, they don't even disturb your users experience. So people don't hesitate to download your chrome extension. I will show give a simple code and you need to just change the RSS Feed URL. The extension shows the recent posts from your blog and is so simple and fast. It can be most useful to notify your new posts.

Create A Chrome Extension For Your Website In 5 Minutes
You can create your website chrome extension less then 5 Minutes. You need to just download this "pr-blogger chrome extension.zip" file and follow the instructions below.
- Open the File "manifest.json" file with notepad.
- And change the required fields like the website name and description to yours.
- Open the File "pr-blogger.js" file and change the my RSS Feed to yours.
After Successfully editing the files, you can test it by entering the text "chrome://extensions/" in chrome address bar. After that:
- Enable "Developer Mode"
- After that click on "Load Unpacked Extension" and select the folder where your edited files are present.
- If all is working well then make all files into a zip file and upload you zip file in chrome store.
If you dont want to submit your chrome extension to chrome store, then you can make it as chrome extension format by following the below steps.
Go to "chrome://extensions/" and enable "Developer Mode"
After that click on "Pack Extension" and browse the folder where your files are present and click on "Pack Extension".
Now upload the packed ".crx" file anywhere and give it to your users.
Note: The Chrome recently stopped the auto installing feature for the extensions download from outer sorce other then Chrome Store. The extension is saved in your computer. If you want to install the downloaded extension then you to go to "chrome://extensions/" and drag your download ".crx" file in the window
