Get SMS Alerts When You Get A New Mail

Opening all your Email accounts to check the new messages every time is a frustrating one.  Now you need not to open your Gmail Inbox everytime to check for the new messages, You will get a Free SMS whenever a Email arrives. This is possible with the twitter and Google Docs together. When you get a new email, a tweet is published to your twitter account and you get notified by the SMS Whenever you get a new message.

Create A New Twitter Account For Alerts

1. Open Twitter sign up page and sign up for a new account
2. Go to twitter settings and check "Protect my tweets"
3. Now go to Twitter developer account and sign in with the new account you created. Then make a new developer app as in the below screenshot.
4. After filling all the required information, Click submit.
   
   Note: you will be able to sign in only if you confirmed your new email account
   
   
   Name = mygmailalert
   Description = Get SMS Alerts With Twitter
   Website = http://www.pr-blogger.com
   Callback URL = https://spreadsheets.google.com/macros
   
   
5. Now Go to settings tab and change the "Acess Mode" from Read Only to "Read And Write"
6. Then Go to OAuth Tool tab and note down the Consumer key and Consumer secret key.

Authorize Twitter And Google Docs

Now you need to authorize Google Docs and twitter to publish your new mails to twitter as tweets.

1. Click this script link to copy it to your drive account.
2. Now go to Tools -> Script Editor and replace the values of TWITTER_CONSUMER_KEY and TWITTER_CONSUMER_SECRET with the one that are noted in STEP 6.
3. Go to Resources -> Current project triggers and create a new trigger like the screenshot below.
4. After that click "Save" and "Authorise" To read the new emails.



sendtweet->Time-Driven->Minutes Timer->Every Five Minutes.

5. Now go to RUN And click SendTweet  and authorize it with your new twitter account.

Follow Your Twitter Account

1. Login To your old account and send follow request to your new Twitter account.
2. Login to your old account and accept the follow request.
3. Again login to your old twitter account and add a phone number to your twitter account in the settings.
4. Also dont forget to enable "Get Mobile Notifications" for the new Twitter account you created.
